2018 TI:ME Composition Contest Announced!

TI:ME (Technology Institute for Music Educators), the leading professional organization for the integration of technology in music education, is proud to announce its 2018 Student Composition Contest!

Students submit entries using the official entry form.

The contest will feature student compositions in the following categories:

  1. Original Composition – Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)
  2. Original Composition – Notation
  3. Covers, Remixes & Loop-Based Projects
  4. Multimedia
  5. Applied Technology

Winners for each composition category will be selected from each of the following age groups:

  1. Elementary (Grades 3-6)
  2. Middle School (Grades 7-8)
  3. High School (Grades 9-12)
  4. College – Undergraduate
  5. College – Graduate

Prizes will be awarded to all winners, with an overall Grand Prize also awarded to the best overall entry. A distinguished panel of TI:ME judges, comprised of highly regarded music educators, technology specialists, published authors, professional composers, and music industry veterans will evaluate the entries  on musical content, technical proficiency, creativity, and reflection.

Submissions must be submitted by May 15, 2018. Students must submit entries using the official form.
