Music majors use stations in the music lab to recreate the lesson. Music appreciation students would observe the demonstration during a class lecture.

Music Appreciation students would learn about J.S. Bach, the Well Tempered Clavier collection, and compositional processes at work in Invention No. 4. Music majors would recreate the midi, notation, and web files required for the project.

I would use my laptop to show the lesson which is on the EKU server. Students could revisit the site as often as desired to learn the objectives. I would lecture on each segment: history and background, overal design, compositional strategies, counterpoint, and so forth. Each segment would take 10 minutes to cover.
