MENC 4: Composing and Arranging Music within specified guidelines.
MENC 5: Reading and notating music.

Materials:

Prepared Finale file saved to folder
Printed Worksheet

Objectives:

Students will analyze 4-measure lines of music and insert barlines oin proper places on the staff.

Procedures:

20 minutes – Pass out worksheeets. Explain procedure. Students complete worksheet.

Evaluation:

Grade worksheets to assess student undeerstanding of counting rhythms.

Follow Up:

Students may complete file on computer using the Finale Family program, printing out their work to turn-in for assessment.
