STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE AN (8) MEASURE MUSICAL PHRASE

STUDENTS WILL RECOGNIZE PATTERNS

Procedures:

PASS OUT WORKSHEET WITH (2) MEASURES PREWRITTEN AND (2) TO BE COMPOSED FOR A TOTAL OF (8) MEASURES.

EXAMPLES OF PATTERNS THAT WILL BE USED ARE (1/4 NOTES & 1/8 NOTES, STEPWISE & SKIP ).

STUDENTS COMPLETE WORK SHEET, THEN ENTER INTO SOFTWARE.

PLAY BACK AFTER ENTERED, MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS,
PRINT

Evaluation:

STUDENTS WILL PLAY BACK (8 ) MEASURE COMPOSITION FOR CLASS AND TEACHER TO HEAR.

STUDENTS HAND IN PRINTED COPY AND WORK SHEET.
