Objectives:
-Students will be able to create a powerpoint file
-Students will be able to research information on a composer
-Students will be able to find five important facts on that composer
-Students will be able to insert pictures
-Students will be able to insert various media such as audio and video
Procedures:
OVER THE COURSE OF 2 CLASSES
-Students research composer using websites given by individual teacher(grove music online, etc)
-Students pick out five important facts throughout the composers life
-Students copy that information to Microsoft Word and save that file
-Students open powerpoint
-Students pick a background or design slide
-Teacher shows students how to pick a layout
-Students pick a layout
-Students type in composers name as title
-Students find a suitable image from google images
-Teacher shows students how to import picture
-Students import picture
-Students transfer information from word to powerpoint
-Teacher shows students resources for midi files
-Students find midi files
-Teacher shows how to import midi file
-Students import their midi file
-Students save project and email to teacher
