    TEXAS EVENT STARTS

    About TI:ME Conference Events

Five times a year, TI:ME gathers the best and brightest music technology specialists and educators in partnership with state MEA organizations such as OMEA, TMEA, TNMEA, and NYSSMA, in addition to NAfME, to produce compelling teacher development training. These events are free for attendees of the conferences, with the exception of any extra pre-conference days. These sessions reached over 4500 teachers in 2018, in five locations, with over 200 sessions given. TI:ME is a 501c3 with a mission to modernize how music is taught, to further engage students, and inspire their teachers. We are member and commercial supported, which underwrites the events, along with grants from the NAMM Foundation and others.

    Jerry Bishop

    TMEA Keynote Speaker

Gavin tabone - Barton Hills Choir

This dynamic, innovative elementary music educator deliver our keynote feature Q&A at our annual TI:ME Pre-Conference Reception in the Lonesome Dove Room on the Riverwalk at the San Antonio Convention Center, on Wednesday, February 13th. The reception is held exclusively for registered Pre-Con attendees after full day of over 20 pre-conference training sessions at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio. The choir performed in concert with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and frequently plays gigs at Texas venues and events like South by Southwest. In November 2018, they traveled to Brooklyn, New York and performed at the Brooklyn Bowl venue with Sirius/XM Grateful Dead Hour radio host and musician, David Gans.
