The 2013 TI:ME National Conference, in conjunction with the 2013 TMEA Conference, will be hosted at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas from February 13 – 16, 2013.

The concurrent conferences have been in the planning and preparation stages since this past March. Deputy Director Frank Coachman and his terrific staff at TMEA, along with the TI:ME conference committee have been diligently working on numerous preparations for this event. Much appreciation is extended to the TI:ME conference committee members who have volunteered their time to make our upcoming conference a stellar event. For their service in this endeavor, I would like to thank Rick Dammers, Mark Lochstampfor, Scott Phillips, Floyd Richmond, Dave Seabald, along with TI:ME president Jay Dorfman and TI:ME executive director Mike Lawson.

Aside from TI:ME providing over 75 music technology sessions during the conferences (February 14-16), TI:ME will also be hosting a Pre-Conference Day on Wednesday, February 13th. Approximately 30 sessions will be offered during the Pre-Conference. At the close of the Pre-Conference sessions, there will be a reception and concert. “The UAB Computer Music Ensemble” from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, under the direction of Scott Phillips, will be our musical guests for the evening.

Please visit the TMEA website for pre-registration information for both the TMEA/TI:ME conferences and the TI:ME Pre-Conference.

"My membership in TI:ME has changed my life. I was originally trying to integrate technology in my music classroom with little knowledge other than information that I had researched. When I discovered TI:ME, I FINALLY had access to resources that I could immediately use. I was able to network with other professionals and get advice. My TI:ME membership has enabled me to learn more - and teach my students using music technology. If you haven't signed up for TI:ME - it's about time!."
