Students will have some experience with creating multimedia presentations. Students have used notation software or music creation software.

Materials:
Pictures (may be digital)
Objectives:
Students use a variety of sound resources and electronic media when composing and arranging music. Using available technology, students will produce compositions and multimedia works.
Procedures:
Distribute pictures. Students will write a poem (6-8 lines) to express the mood of the picture. Students will scan the pictures and save files. (if necessary) Using PowerPoint, the students will create one slide with their picture and poem. Using Finale Notepad, the students will create a simple melody to match mood of picture and poem. (May use other music creation software) Students will save the song as an audio file (will require copy of Finale) Insert audio file into PowerPoint slide.

Checklist of elements to be included in presentation.

Use movie clips and create score for them.
