Materials:
Worksheets formed through notation software
Objectives:
Students will identify the correct solfeggio syllable by writing the syllable under the note. Students will sing in warm-ups the exercise using the syllables written.
Procedures:
Create a worksheet using notation software that includes several vocal exercises. Review if needed the solfeggio scale. Each vocal exercise can include a starting syllable if desired to allow students the reference pitch do. Have the students write below each note the appropriate solfege syllable.
Evaluation:
After checking the worksheets for accuracy, Use the sheets as a warm-up activity.
Follow Up:
Use this plan to introduce new vocal warm-ups.
