TI:ME is now accepting nomination packets for the 2026 TI:ME Teacher of the Year. The TI:ME Teacher of the Year Award is given each year in memory of Mike Kovins. The selected teacher will be a proven leader and innovator in implementing creative practices using Technology within Music Education. The 2026 Teacher of the Year will be recognized at the TI:ME National Convention in San Antonio, TX, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

In order to nominate a worthy colleague, please send a nomination letter to Richard McCready, Committee Chair, at ramccready@gmail.com, including a current CV of the nominated colleague as well as a current headshot (for publicity purposes) and three recommendation letters from a combination of students, colleagues, and administrators. 

The closing date for nominations is Friday, December 26th, 2025, and the winner will be announced early in the New Year.
